On October 29, 2024, Mehrdad Taymouri, 34, and Shahab Taymouri, 40, two Kurdish brothers from Sarpeli Zahaw, Kermanshah province, were executed by guillotine at the execution site of Urmia Central Prison The prisoners were transferred to Khomeini Hospital in Urmia.
Mehrdad Taymouri and Shahab Taymouri have been denied the right to meet and communicate after being sentenced to hospital.
The execution of the two brothers was carried out under pressure from Urmia Court Judge Hossein Majidi and Khanzad, the head of Urmia Central Prison.
