On the same day, Leila Pashaei, a women's rights activist from Saqiz, was arrested by the security forces in Sanandaj for participating in a ceremony to commemorate March 8, International Women's Day.

At least four civilian activists have been arrested and taken to an unknown location in the past 24 hours.
