A Baloch child was killed and an infant aborted by direct fire from government forces

A five-year-old Baloch child named Yousef Shahli Bur was shot dead by Iranian special forces in Iranshahr, Sistan and Baluchestan province. Yousef's pregnant mother also miscarried after being shot by the forces and her health condition is worrying.
On February 24, 2025, Yousef Shahli Bur, a 5-year-old child from Iranshahr, was shot dead by the Iranian Special Forces. Yousef Shahli Bur was shot five times and died after surgery.”

On February 7, Yousef's 32-year-old mother, Maryam Shohlibor, lost her baby a day later after being shot by government forces.

The mother was admitted to the intensive care unit of Iranshahr hospital due to her injuries. As of this writing, the official authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have refused to take any responsibility for the incident.
