Official and unofficial statistics show that in the provinces that experienced the most protests during the Zhina Revolution, people's participation in the electoral theater has declined the most compared to previous periods.

According to official data, the turnout was 23 percent in Sanaa province, one of the main centers of the 1401 Zhina Revolution. The turnout in the June 1400 elections was 37.4 percent.

East Kurdistan under the rule of the Islamic Republic has witnessed the repression of political freedoms, increased discrimination against Kurdish citizens, systematic corruption of the regime's institutions and officials, economic problems, killing of traders and all kinds of deprivation of rights.

In Sistan and Baluchestan province, where the turnout was 68.8 percent in 1400 according to official figures, this time the official figures show 40 percent voter turnout.

In Gilan province, which was one of the centers of the “Women, Life, Freedom” protests during the Zhina Revolution, the turnout was 32.6 percent. In the 1400 elections, official figures showed a turnout of 57 percent.

The election broke the record for the lowest turnout in the history of the Islamic Republic, with 39.92 percent, according to official figures.
