On the occasion of March 8, women's murder statistics

Women in Kurdistan has prepared a report on the situation of women from March 8, 2022 to March 8, 2023. In your opinion, this statistic cannot reflect all cases of violations of women's rights Cases open are included in this statistic.
In the past year, especially in the second half of the year, with the beginning of the Women, Life, Freedom Revolution in Iran and women's leadership in this revolution, more women have been arrested and imprisoned.
At least 282 women have been arrested for political, civil, trade union, religious and media activities in the past year.
Last year, 39 women committed suicide and 16 were murdered.
Two women were also executed. Four women were also injured by landmines.
Arrests:
The breakdown of arrests is as follows:
247 people in connection with the Zhina Revolution
18 people for political activities
7 people for crimes of civil activity
6 people for media activities
3 people for trade union activities
1 person for religious activity
Suicide:
A total of 39 women committed suicide, 25 of them due to family conflict, and the cause of the other 14 women has not been confirmed. Of the 39 women who committed suicide, 11 were under 18 years of age.
Murder of women:
In the past year, 16 women have been victims of honor killings, mostly by their husbands or close family members.
Execution:
Two women were executed last year for premeditated murder, one of whom was a victim of child marriage.
Mine explosion:
Last year, landmine explosions in the Kurdistan border areas injured four women, one of whom lost her limbs.
